I am motivated by a desire to help people...to be the person that goes above and beyond.
I find the human body incredible and get deep satisfaction from using my knowledge to work with clients to problem solve even the trickiest conditions.
A love of learning is essential in our ever-changing world and continually updating my Physio skills is something I enjoy. More recently I have commenced study in the emerging field of Lifestyle Medicine which, as the name suggests, is the practice of using lifestyle factors (sleep, nutrition, excercise and breath) as medicine. Used in conjunction with traditional Physiotherapy, Lifestyle Medicine has the potential to improve outcomes significantly.
As the Principal/Owner of this practice, I have made it my priority to find like-minded practitioners to make up our team.
We laugh a lot and love what we do!
Nicola Weaver

Nicola is another highly experienced member of our team. She has over 30 years of experience working in private Physiotherapy practices and loves the challenge of helping people feel strong, independent and capable - able to live their best lives.
Nicola is a qualified Pilates instructor and highly skilled at combining the strengthening and control principles of Pilates into her clinical treatments. She is a great believer in the benefits of exercise based treatments combined with manual therapy and regularly takes clients for Hydrotherapy sessions at Valentine Hydrotherapy Pool.
In the near future, Nicola hopes to be offering small group mat work exercise sessions for our clients.
Carolyn Urquhart (joining us from 4 March)

Carolyn has over 30 years of experience as a Physiotherapist and still finds it hugely rewarding to work with clients to problem-solve causes and solutions for their pain and dysfunction.
Carolyn is a great listener and motivated by the satisfaction of improving the quality of life of others.
Carolyn works part time at Physiotherapy Caves Beach and is also a valued member of the team at The Breast Centre in Gateshead, where she works as an Accredited Lymphoedema Practitioner.
Carolyn’s many years of experience and dedication to ongoing education give her a depth of knowledge which significantly enhances her client care and outcomes.
